This month, we saw the launch of the new BESS module in the Youwind Platform. The new module enables you to design and analyse battery storage systems both as standalone projects and in hybrid configurations with wind farms.

It brings the same engineering-driven approach used in wind farm design to energy storage, allowing you to move from site screening to preliminary layout and impact analysis in a single environment.

Our founders recently represented Youwind across two key Asian markets: exhibiting at Smart Energy Week in Tokyo and co-hosting a technical workshop in Hanoi in collaboration with Vortex.

Tokyo: Scale, Momentum, and Results

Yowind exhibited under the EU-Japan Center for Industrial Cooperation, enabling direct engagement with local stakeholders and partners. The team held numerous meetings, connected with new prospects, and strengthened relationships with existing clients by visiting their offices, it provided a clear view of how our technology is being applied in real-time.

Overall, Tokyo reinforced a strong message: Japan’s energy transition is advancing with determination, and the opportunity for impact is both real and growing.

Hanoi: Technical Workshop with Vortex

In collaboration with Vortex, Youwind co-hosted a technical workshop, catered to a key challenge in wind project development: reducing uncertainty in the early stages.

The session proved to be highly impactful, with strong engagement from attendees across local markets, confirming both the relevance of the topic and the growing momentum of wind energy development in the region.
